Villa Lety is situated in the charming and family-friendly beach town of El Zonte, located in La Libertad department. The property is just an hour away from both the airport and downtown San Salvador. This area is renowned for its surfing scene and has hosted numerous surfing tournaments. El Zonte is a peaceful place that lacks nightlife, but nearby hotels offer full bars where guests can enjoy cocktails while taking in the breathtaking sunset. If you're seeking live music or bars, El Tunco, a pedestrian town, is just a 15-minute drive away.
The house is just steps away from a perfect spot for beginners to learn to surf. It's important to note that the best time to learn to surf is during the months of October, November, and December when the waves are not as high.
At Villa Lety, we offer tours with designated drivers for those who want to explore the beauty of El Salvador. These tours include visiting the Lago de Coatepeque, Ruta de las Flores, coffee plantations, volcano hiking, mountain biking in El Zonte, the Tamanique waterfalls, deep sea fishing in Costa del Sol, and golfing at a nearby course. We also provide in-house services such as massages, facials, and manicures/pedicures for those who want to be pampered. Yoga and Pilates courses can also be arranged upon request.
The house is staffed with individuals who will prepare all of your meals and clean up afterward. We offer daily cleaning services, and if you require transportation, we can arrange a driver for an additional charge. Our host, Eleticia, is fluent in both Spanish and English and is always available to assist with any questions or concerns you may have.
Please note that upon arrival in El Salvador, you will need to pay a $10 tourist visa fee in cash. Customs officers will also request the address of your accommodation in El Salvador. The currency used in El Salvador is the US dollar, so we recommend bringing cash as some establishments do not accept credit cards, including taxis and drivers for excursions. ATMs can be found at the airport and in La Libertad, a large coastal town near El Zonte.
